See Our NWP Literacy Group on a Field Trip

Hey I hope we all had a great time on the train. Here is a sneak peak of the pictures. Not all of the pictures are this good because I had to get pictures of other people. (lol) We can't help it that we are the best looking crew right! Anyway I also have some pictures up on BJ's blog. If you want to know what the engineer looks like you can see him there. Hi Melissa,

Thank you so much for posting pictures of members of our group (from the train ride) to Lacey's blog! What a perfectly fantastic day (I felt) we had on the mini-marathon via the train!! I have so many ideas for writing, that I, of course, jotted down via short notes (Thanks Lia!)in my journal, even after I got home! I had company all weekend (the joys of parent- and grand-parenthood, on Father's Day at our house!), (more stuff to write about) so I didn't get anything really written. The main thing for me is the ideas are there, concretely, in my journal. The pictures will be so helpful in spurring the writing along once I get started! We will all be grateful to you for all the pictures you made. Our "new literacies" group is, indeed, so AWESOME! I am enjoying working with you guys so very much! See ya Monday! BJ

Love the blog! Love the pix (the subtitles in particular)! Again, I am totally bummed that I missed the trip!
Your group did an amazing job this summer, inspiring me to further my use of technology in my classroom. Heck, I successfully posted to Lacy's wiki--that must mean I can create my own...right?
